We can hardly believe that our first week back has already come to an end. We have spent the week settling back into classroom routines and are all very tired, but we have had a great week!This week we started learning to play table tennis. Some special coaches have come to teach us basic skills. We were learning how to balance a table tennis ball on our racket and also tried balancing and hitting a balloon.
Jump Jam started again this week. From now until the end of the year we will do Jump Jam at 9am on Tuesdays and Thursdays for fitness.
Some of the children have been lucky enough to receive a note from Spot. Spot is our classroom mascot and a little dog who sits and keeps an eye on everyone in Room 3. He spots children in the class who are trying really hard, being a nice friend or following the classroom goals. Each afternoon he tells Miss Hughes who he has spotted and someone special receives a note the next day.
