Welcome back to school and Term 3. We have such an exciting term as we have started rehearsing for our Junior Syndicate Production and we are busily learning new songs and dances.This week we make butterflies using paper towels and felts and then spraying them with water. On Friday we also celebrated 100 days at school this year!
Our topic this term is rubbish and recycling and during the week we collected rubbish from our lunchboxes. We sorted them into three containers: organic, plastic and paper. We then buried each group of rubbish in the garden! At the end of the term we will dig them up and see which group of rubbish has rotted the quickest. We are all pretty clever in Room 3 and we think that the organic rubbish will rot the quickest, so we will wait and see. Zara took pictures and Willem stomped on the dirt with his gumboots.
