We have just completed Literacy Week at school and we have had a lot of fun listening to stories read by different teachers and a special visitor, Mr Stu Duval. Stu Duval visited our school on Wednesday and showed us how to draw cartoons form letters and numbers and told us a wonderful story. We were all captivated by his animated story telling. We also studied two cats from different books. We looked at Greedy Cat, a character created by author Joy Cowley and also Scarface Claw, a character created by Lynley Dodd. We were learning to look for the similarities and differences between the two cats. During our art lesson we also sketched and painted some wonderful Greedy Cats.
Wow that was cool Michael.
