We had another short week this week as Friday was ROC Day! ROC stands for Respect Our Community. We all walked to school and then spent the day in different groups doing all sorts of fun activities such as sports activities and arts and crafts. We worked together with children from all across the school and learned how to work as a team and help each other. The Junior Syndicate were also lucky enough to get a visit from The Polkadots! They talked about the benefits of walking to school and we danced and sang with them. We each received a free cd from them. For art and part of 5+aday we made some beautiful 3D fruit. In our Keeping Ourselves Safe unit we learnt about feelings and naming our body parts.This was also the last week that Miss Lyons is in our classroom. She has left now and returned to university and we will all miss her.
