On Thursday we had some special visitors called 'Science in a Van' perform some fascinating experiments for us and to show us some amazing bubbles. We are learning 'What will happen if.......' we mix different materials together. We learnt about carbon dioxide and that it is only ever a solid or a gas, never a liquid. We were shown frozen carbon dioxide and when it comes into contact with warm air it forms a white vapour. The scientist filled a bubble with it and Jayden was luck enough to hold one. The carbon dioxide vapour makes the bubble heavier than a normal bubble.
