Because we are learning about symmetry in maths, Miss Hughes thought it would be a great idea to make butterflies using paint. We folded a piece of paper in half and drew half a butterfly. Then we painted over the pencil half butterfly and folded the piece of paper back over and squashed it down. When we unfolded the paper we had made a beautiful butterfly! We were all so proud of our butterflies and some of us were so amazed at what we had created.
