For the first half of Term 4 our strand topic in maths is symmetry. We are learning what symmetry is and how we can create our own symmetrical patterns. Here are some pictures of some symmetrical patterns we have created. The patterns on the black card were created by folding a piece of paper in half and cutting out a shape. We also created our own symmetrical patterns by sticking craft 'bits' on one side of paper and then mirroring the pattern on the other side.
