Autumn Poems

Last week we wrote some autumn poems. We went for a walk in our playground to look at autumn leaves and then bought some back to class to discuss different words that described how the leaves felt and looked and also what they do as they fall from the trees. We came up with some fantastic words like: twirling, crunchy, burnt, floating, crispy, old and twisting. We have our poems on display in our writing corner.
