This has been our second to last week of experiments. We looked at ice this week and did an experiment to see whether ice melted quicker with salt sprinkled on it. This was an activity that we started as a class and came back to. It was amazing how much quicker the ice melted with salt on it.
As part of our mathematics learning this term we are looking at probability. We have the read stories 'How Maui Slowed the Sun' and 'The Gingerbread Man' and then had to sort pictures into three categories each (will, might, never) and (always, perhaps and no way jose).
